Alex was able to go through the temple one Tuesday morning. His parents, a couple of aunts and uncles, and some good friends were able to go through with him. It was a gorgeous morning!
Mom and Alex packed the day before he left. Well mostly mom packed. That picture where Alex is lying and watching her- that's mostly how it went. Mom tried not to think about what she was doing, but did get emotional packing all of his diabetic supplies. Alex's diabetic supplies filled half of a medium-sized suitcase!
