This area is on fire right now!

Elder Talbot, Dayana, Oscar, and Elder Zea

Yeah! Oscar and Dayana did get baptized on Sunday! It went really well. They were really prepared. It was kinda a last minute thing because we had to teach them the last 2 lessons on Saturday night! If they had had any problems it would have ruined the plans we had made, but everything went well. They were fine with the Word of Wisdom and didn't even have second thoughts about giving up those things.

We have the baptisms for Jose Luis Vazquez and the rest of his and Carmina'a kids, Ricardo, Ana Karen and Arlene (which i didn't know was a Hispanic name). Their date is for the 25th, the day before Thanksgiving. The changes in Carmina have been great! She is more happy and involved in everything. Ricardo is 12 and really shy but he is opening up. Ana Karen is 11 and really funny and Arlene is 9 and super shy! They are all really short and weigh like 20 pounds! Tiny kids. They really like the temples and eternal families thing.

For Thanksgiving we are going over to the Herrera's house to eat. They are a really cool family. They are half Hispanic, but none of them speak Spanish.

In my area there is the Gibsonia, Lakeland, Highlands, and Christina wards all in English and the Crystal Lake Spanish branch. That is all in our area. We have a gigantic area to cover!

Today we have to go to Winter Haven to get Elder Zea's stitches taken out. Last p-day we were playing football and he ran into his teammate and cut his lip. He's been walking around like a POW survivor with it haha. So that is pretty much our p-day. Hopefully we'll be able to play some basketball or something but I don't know.

Thanks for the news! I'll talk to you next week!! Love you all!!!
